I have been so horrible about logging on and writing what days I have done.
I will blame it on it being the boys' last week of preschool this week and having company, too!
I will not try and back track and figure out what I have missed, but instead just post that I have completed today's exercises - Day 22!
Now I will try my best to keep up until the end of May next week! :)

I also jogged for 10 minutes this morning, with a 2-minute walk/break in between....And it just about killed me. lol Just goes to show I've got to get back into a cardio routine!!

Carrie is Not Alone...
So, my husband and I went off this past weekend as well to celebrate our 2-year anniversary, and I didn't do one day of blog exercises either!!! :(
Although, I don't think it was a total waste and I didn't totally backtrack, because we did indeed do a lot of walking by going to Ruby Falls and Rock City in Chattanooga, TN! :) Both beautiful & interesting places. So maybe I didn't get too out of routine! But I will also be catching up this week and as Carrie put it so well, tomorrow is a new day and we get a fresh start!
My weekly challenge for the 13th-18th is:
*Choose one or more of the following to use as part of a meal TWICE this week:

-Chili Peppers
-Garlic
-Cherry Juice
-Walnuts
-Green Tea
-White Tea

Bad, Bad, Carrie :(
Well, I went camping and had all intentions of keeping up with Friday and Saturday's exercises......but I didn't! :( Boo hoo! I completely messed up my exercising streak I had going on....
BUT, tomorrow is a new day and I will catch up....that means I'll be doing Friday, Saturday and Monday's exercises. I may not be able to walk back up the basement stairs but I will have the feeling of accomplishment to keep me company until I can go up those stairs! Ha!
Here's to a new week and a new start.
This week my challenge is to run/walk/elliptical at least 3 times (that means neighborhood walks with the boys count, too!)

Day 4 - complete! Whew! I also did not drink enough water today. :( But I'll have to remedy that tomorrow!
We had a full & fun day today, which is partially the reason for my 'lateness' in posting tonight -sheepish grin-, but now I know that weekends are gonna be harder to keep up with! Will have to plan ahead & try harder on Fridays & Saturdays.
We saw Iron Man 3 today, which was AWESOME! (no surprise there) And for those of you who like to bolt before the first credits roll, keep in mind that there is actually a short scene at the finish, so change it up a lil' and stick around until the VERY end! ;)

It's 10pm (TN time), but I did it! ;) And yes, my abs are burning. lol

Somehow I deleted this post from earlier.
But anyways, if you like cucumbers you might like this little snack/lunch.
Just use a small biscuit cutter on two slices of bread.
Peel and slice 1/2 cucumber and dip in Italian dressing.
Spread cream cheese mixed with ranch dressing (powdered) onto bread circles and top with cucumbers. YUM!

DONE! Sam even did them with me....but he did complain that it was too many crunches! Haha

Well, I did day two....at 9pm! haha I'm just about to get on the elliptical. Working out this late lets you know just how busy my day was!

Day 2 - Jenny
Day 2: Completed!
Yesterday, I posted on facebook that sometimes I get the urge to dance down the sidewalk during one of my walks when one of my favorite songs comes on my ipod...I have yet to do this, and I stated on facebook that I wish I had an invisibility cloak so I could do just that whenever I wanted. Some of the comments from others were that I should dance anyways and not care what others think! :) One said commenter posted this video, and I thought I'd share...
So, this month I am giving myself a challenge...I am daring 'me' to dance down the sidewalk at some point before the end of this month--at least once! (no invisibility cloak included)

First of all, 'YAY' for my very first post to any personal blog EVER!!! haha

Day 1 for moi: Done! We can do this!
My Weekly Challenge for May 1st-4th: Drink 24 oz. of water each day for the remainder of this week, Thurs.-Sat.!
*Another way to look at it:
A cup of water with each meal = 8 oz., 3x a day
Proud to say that I just completed Carrie's weekly challenge today by walking for 30 minutes outside in a cute lil' park just up the street from my home...
*Bonus Points*: was not hit by a car, did not trip once over my own feet, actually broke a sweat, saw a billion pretty birdies, and wore my Gators t-shirt proudly in a land where we Florida fans are rare & probably shunned! lol
